Am I the only one who really doesn't give a shit how Cozens plays in Ottawa? He wasn't going to do that here, and was a major contributor to why the team is so far down the standings. He had to go. If he's happier north of the border, fine. If he falls off another cliff, fine.

I'm hyper focused on Norris, and it's not off to a great start with him being banged up already a couple of games into his tenure here. I have a bad feeling this trade will age horribly. Time will tell. Hopefully, my gut feeling is just my body putting its guard up because the Sabres have hurt me in the past, haha.

Unfortunately we traded for him banged up. I think we are best to forget about this year, hope he heals up in the off season and we get 75+ games out of him next year. If he does that its a good trade.

He's been dealing with this nagging injury since around the 4 Nations break (iirc, something mid-body, not his shoulder).

This is the trade that will break the camel's back. We'll be stuck with an injury prone, decent #2 C on an 8-million-dollar cap hit. That contract is going to age like milk. Availability is the best ability has never rung so true.

They need to fire Adams before he makes anymore franchise altering trades, but they won't.
