shouldve just left NAK in rochester for their run....

Brannstrom will be in Rochester for their run though - and they have plenty of body banger types in terms of style down there that he isn't necessarily needed. I would also expect that part of his assignment was that they would try to find a place in the NHL for him later which they've done (though I haven't heard if he's reporting up to NY or staying in Hartford).

I can't believe I'm saying this but I like Rochester's construct of both forwards and defense currently. Getting Kulich down for the stretch was a big enough boost. NAK has looked decent in his role there. I get doing right by him 100% but unless he explicitly demanded it I'd have left things as is.

Just remember, he wasn't playing every night. They were still rotating in different guys on that third and fourth line like they've done all year. When he was in, he helped. When he wasn't in, others helped. His contributions weren't the only reason the Amerks are doing well, just part of the team.

Hey we will see...maybe Brannstrom lights it up....I think come playoff time an NAK type is gonna be much more valuable but thats just me...

lol why from either team? And lol at all the Canucks posts blowing EB.
Brannstrom produces more in the AHL than NAK does, so it makes Rochester better.

They're currently leading the league by 1 point, so this will strengthen the team and they're hoping for a deep run, even win the Calder Cup.

You get your prospects winning like that and when they go up to the NHL they know what winning feels like and it might help change the culture of the team in the NHL.
