I have seen plenty of examples of refs letting teams defending an empty net take liberties but I can't recall ever seeing a team attacking an empty net being given that treatment.

Whatever, this team and roster are putrid dogshit and there's no hope as long as Bozo The Clown is our owner.

I thought they played pretty well and should have come away with a point.

I was really surprised to see Dahlin not cover on Johnson's deflection goal and Dallas was gifted by the refs on the EN. Clearly DeBoar taught interference on Thompson's dump in and pursuit which allowed Dallas to recover the puck and send it into the empty net. Can't remember the last time exchange of slashes resulting in a broken stick didn't result in a penalty being called on the stick destroying party.

Zuck was giving the ref/lineman a piece his mind from the bench as time wound down. Too bad he wasn't mike'd up so we could all share in the fun.

Two opportunities for cozens there and he shoots it high, and misses the pass. UGH!!!
Cozen is useless. Literally useless.

Power gets the puck and has as clean a look on goal as you can get, nobody between him and the goal. Get the shot off quick and you have a good chance to beat the goalie. So Power takes the puck, handles it for 5-10 seconds allowing the goalie to get set and defenders to get set and the puck gets deflected away.
And for contrast, we have players who are almost exclusively one timers.

And i'm not talking about their presumed sexual exploits.... lol

I know I'm supposed to hate you just because of the rivalry.

But I absolutely love your roster and wish nothing but the best for you guys.

The days of Afinogenov, Brier, Campbell, Pominville, Miller, Biron, Enroth, Vanek, Connolly, Roy, Ennis, Gerbe, Myers (I could go on forever).

If ever the Stars are eliminated and the Sabres are alive, I have a second team.

Hope you all have a happy new year, hope your Bills make up for the Sabres failures, and we're probably both Jays fans which sucks for us both. Good luck to you all!

Sad, this team with this roster and this GM will not go anywhere, good games are replaced by bad ones, although I absolutely did not like the game against Blues. Here I only saw highlights and basically it seemed that Stars dominated and deservedly won. This team needs changes.

what a pathetic 3rd period. How many times did you hear the phrase "Cleared but not out".
I don't know why they do into a defensive shell every 3rd period, never works. Looked like they were short handed.
Not a fan of Lindy

I foolishly regained some hope with that thrashing of NYI and solid beating of Chicago, but twas false. We can’t hang with actually good teams. I maintain the individual talent is fine, and I despised the Lindy hire from day 1. Back then I was angry- now I just feel bad. Tarnishing his legacy because you’re too damned cheap to hire a coach for the modern game, f*** Terry.
