If true, congrats Jackets fans on the end of a long wait. It will be worth it for that moment when it all comes together and the league gets to see what Columbus can do with a football stadium and a hyped up hockey game.

I’m always shocked at how large US college stadiums are, especially considering the stadiums Canadian University teams play in:
Genuinely excited for this. Concerned that it will be either 9 degrees or 78 though. March in Ohio can be quite the gamble.
Even better when you realize the bottom left of that photo is a large bus/transit stop.

I make sure to not watch any outdoor games.
I make sure to watch Blue Jackets games.
I think I will try to not watch this one, it will just be hard to watch like all the other outdoor games.

Some of the blue blood programs have seating capacity for 100,000+ people and they’ll fill every seat for prime time games. College football in the US is wild.
If you are always shocked by the size of college football stadiums you should see some of the stadiums for high school football. This is the stadium for Allen High School in Allen, TX.

Just go. They're actually a lot of fun to be a part of.
I was at the first regular NHL outdoor game back in 2003 in Edmonton, and yeah the views from the second deck of a giant CFL stadium (with an athletics track around the field to boot!) weren't exactly ideal for a hockey game. But that's totally missing the point IMO.
