Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I could be wrong.. so I'm not going to say anything publicly for a week or so, to see if said poster posts again. So far, they haven't been on since he passed. A few years ago they claimed that their son had been in the Leaf org, played with a lot of grit, and was traded, and is in the Florida org now...

Completely devastating .. RIP Mush .. reached out to Mason last night and told him he always has a place to stay at our place with his buddies .. OMG my 1st cry in many years .. played and lived hard .. hope he had his heart attack in his sleep

It is a very small hockey world .. Shanny, Mush and my brother played on same team in Timmy Tyke and they lost to LC .. Shanny and Mush went to Reps and beat my bros Marlies in Quebec peewee tourney but they were all friends .. I was 5 years older .. really only met Mush when his son Mason who was a very late developer skated with my son and with barb before Leafs development camp and then for a couple years .. we were both big boys but I always found him to be a super super nice guy .. kinda fast friends because of connection with my bro and we both fought as big D .. shared a few pops on my pool deck a few times with kids and was an amazing for stories back in da day .. nothing but great memories and a huge huge heart for giving back

There might be something to this.
Many years ago (probably around 2005 or 2006), I was talking shit about Bryan Marchment on this very board, and in retrospect I definitely went beyond the line of duty in that regard. I received a PM from a poster that was...rather sobering, and we chatted for a bit. The poster was 100% an actual relative of Marchment's, but I do not remember in what capacity. I don't remember their username either but I strangely DO remember their real name clear as day, which I obviously will never disclose.
