Injury Report: Bryan Little

Was thinking about getting an aviator Jets Jersey last. Go with the cheaper one and not sure who to get. May do a Little one now since I’m probably getting a Morrissey HC jersey to go with my Ehlers one. Although I’d kill for a Little Thrashers jersey.

A Little Thrashers jersey would be very cool imo.

Remember the guy who made the trip to Winnipeg from Atlanta last year? Guy had a Little Thrashers jersey signed from the “Jersey off their backs” thing they would do at the end of the year each year. Was so f***ing jealous.

I do have an old Kovy Thrashers away jersey from years ago.

From reports I've read on here, Little is alert and in good spirits, which you would think would be a great sign that he's OK. Hopefully it was just a cut, that needed stitches, and nothing more serious.

reading reports he is still in hospital currently. Could just be further observations as a precaution. Lets hope it is just that. If it was just a cut i am assuming he would be home by now. All just speculation of course until the team announces more

The Hockey Guy said he got released, or was about to get released from hospital. Don’t know what he based it on.

This could end his career.
He’s had a broken neck, a couple of recent concussions and now this.
He’s lucky he wasn’t killed from that shot.
I’m not surprised that this is more serious than a concussion.
We are definitely gonna miss him out there.
This is the season from Hell!

He could have a little bleeding on or in the brain which could cause a seizure . Holding him over night and into today is a very smart thing to do . Get back soon Little .

Get well soon Bryan! You're so underappreciated, we need you back ASAP!

As much as I bitch about his second line center roll I hate to see guys get hurt. Played with him a few years ago just a great over all guy, super nice and I wish him a speedy recovery and a quick return to the Jets!

What!!! Not doubting you but, do you have a source? If it's worse than a concussion, it's pretty flipping bad.
Probably more accurate would be more than a concussion. That is there are other related physical injuries, many of which could be very serious.

I agree Jets 31 -- holding him for awhile is a good idea. He could have a very slow bleed point somewhere in his skull, that may not show up for a couple days. Maybe they can detect that, but I'm not so sure on that ? It's best to hold him, and see if he has any negative symptoms. Some skiers have hit their head with their helmet "on" and died 6 hours later, but felt OK for about 2-3 hours after the accident. For a slow bleed situation inside the skull, I think it takes time for the blood to accumulate inside the skull, and cause real problems.

They can't really go wrong by holding him in for observation, but after around 24 hours they should have a good idea, and if he still feels good -- likely he's OK.

I'm just hoping his helmet took a lot of the blow, and that he only got cut because the plastic from his helmet was bent backward, and cut him. Getting hit on the side of the head would likely be worse than the front of your head. He got hit in the ear area --and I think that's quite a soft area.

Let's all hope he makes a fast and 100 % recovery.

What an unfortunate injury. I hope he makes a quick and complete recovery.

This season from hell continues, everything in the Jets orbit seems to have a black cloud on it.
