The more I watch Lohrei the more I think the B’s are making a big mistake having him as a D-man. He’s already a total menace down low; he’d be an awesome wing. Play him as a forward and forget about all the mistakes in judgement re when to pinch or when to move up. We already have a skilled offensive player who can add scoring punch without dealing with the learning curve he’s going through.

Interesting idea . Lohrei seems to do well coming up from behind the play. Takes him a few strides to get moving. That won’t happen as a forward . Down Lindholm and MacAvoy I highly doubt the Bruins try it this year.

Not sure where Merk is since I haven’t seen lines but as a Prov B’s mini pack season ticket holder the times I’ve seen him superior at C

What would be the harm to try him as forward for a few games??..although it's not likely to happen right now because the B's are so short of D-men

..it's not like he never played forward before
