Just my opinion but the existing one compared to the new or original set looks like somebody who found the stroke layer adjustment in Photoshop and just started adding outline after outline for no real reason except to reduce the clarity of the design.

I never really had a problem with the existing logo at all but I like the simplicity of the new/old look compared to it and I definitely like the gold "B" on the black sweaters like back in the Bobby Orr days.

Agreed. The outlines create some visual depth that I strongly preferred over the version they’re bringing back.

That’s why I agree with the below:

The on-black looks good. The on-white doesn't look so hot.

Even within this new set, the appearance of a hard black outline around the B makes the whole thing feel more solid.

The gold B logo always looked better on the black uniform than the black B version.

Now they just need to stop being the Boston Penguins and go back to the gold socks.

I felt like their last logo was about a perfect as it could be. Seems weird to change it as it looks bright for no reason.

Honestly I liked that they didn’t change colors on the B in recent jerseys. Not a bruins fan but I prefer teams didn’t change colors on their logo. Like before when the ducks would change the triangle behind the duck from green to grey going from white to purple. Should just pick a color that goes well on both jerseys.
