Can’t play the kids because “they aren’t out scoring their mistakes” but the vets aren’t doing that either so why are they allowed to keep playing?

Same for hockey - the Bruins stink they should fire everyone right down to the concession workers and people in the pro shop

Of course it’s the usual trade Marchand posters circling the drains. Has it ever occurred to people that Marchand may be experiencing and injury or setback from offseason surgery and the only way to get him to rest is to bench him? They’ll never say he’s hurt. Nope, instead of thinking this, people would rather insinuate he’s the real issue, that he’s a malcontent, and that he needs to be traded and the sooner the better.

The benching of Marchand may well have been justified, without fully knowing Sacco's reasoning it's hard to say, and that's now two coaches in the same season who have had issues with the captain's play. So something is wrong there and I don't think Brad should be immune from discipline simply because of his history and his role.

But I just can't agree with the timing. Huge game, big point on the line in the context of the season and standings, and Marchy is one of the greatest OT players of all time. He has to play there. Save whatever point you want to make and issues you want to deal with for later. Just poor judgment on Sacco's part, and a poor reading of the room.

I don't think it would be right to sack him now though, unless the guy you're replacing him with right then and there is the one you see as being the next proper long-term coach. Going through 2 interims in a single season smacks of incompetence and a franchise in crisis. Which may well be the case, but I don't think you go around showcasing the fact. Accept that the season is not what you hoped and there is no magic potion to fix it, ride it out, and go from there.

If you look at some of my postings, I am not a part of your so called group and neither is Fenway for that matter. Succo and staff have brought nothing and deserve what they are getting. Moreover, moving Marchand should be considered given his UFA status, and I would say that of almost any declining , older player.

Coyle was excellent. He battled with ketchup all night long. He won a lot it the battles.

It’s a bad message and it’s obviously a coach trying to send a message, problem is Marchand wasn’t the only Bruin wha wasn’t at the top of his game and he’s more than earned a pass. Especially in a game where points really matter. Just the wrong time, IMO.

he also took the dumb extra penalty when we were taking control of the game. Ghen ott ties it right off the power play.

Bruins 3rd goal, Pasta to Zacha to Geekie, may have been the prettiest passing play of the century by the B's.

Brazeau's pass from his office behind the net to set up Lettieri, beautiful. What a 4th liner.

Beecher's knuckler for a goal. He should try to perfect that one.

Swayman making 39 saves, though not all were great chances. Maybe only 20 or so.

Bruins with a powerplay goal.

Jaffe was killing Swayman for shooting for the empty net and failing to clear the zone.

This is critical mass. They’re on the outside looking in.

They tread water until Macs back and later on Lindy they should be ok. Now Sacco coaching decisions are a different story. First when it was 2-0 he should of called tomeout. Ottawa was killing them.
