Zacha will be to the wing this year, probably LW with Lindholm and Pasta, but Bs need a second line RW, they hope for a young gun to step up, Lysell, Merkulov, Duran.... but some PTO to get more competition it s never a bad thingI'm assuming because they're trying to move Zacha to wing? Just a guess.
I think this has more to do with Poitras ramping back up than it does Zacha. Zacha was likely going back to first line left wing when they signed Lindholm.I'm assuming because they're trying to move Zacha to wing? Just a guess.
I don't think this has anything to do with Poitras. He plays like he did last season, Matt is on the team.Matty P to Providence confirmed
16 pts on PP, 15 at ES. Don't see him on the PP over Pasta.didn’t realize he potted 17 last year
Def not gonna get the same opportunity here but it’s whatever to me- no risk move. V small though doesn’t really fit what they’ve tried to do
Waste of ink, and paper, it was written on.Nice message to Lysell, hopefully he gets it. Johnson is a nice choice for a PTO
There’s two “Providence players” in real competition for one spot.Very smart move you can't rely on so many Providence players in rookies to all be productive we are very thin up front this is an experienced guy playing with good players could help us out much rather someone like him then anybody they have in Providence
Some people like to overstate, but you are right, and if he is the competition for the Providence kids and he beats them out then they should seek employment elsewhere, and the main club has more problems the just signing a goaltender. There’s two “Providence players” in real competition for one spot.
Hopefully they can take the next step, if not...There’s two “Providence players” in real competition for one spot.
I like the signing. His career faceoff win % isn't the greatest at 49.4. I remember him being a pretty good player for Tampa though.

And you’re understating it. This kind of move just drives me insane. It's rare when you can find a player willing to sign on for a try out when they are still showing how undersized and washed up they are.
