I will have my list for every pick together in early June.

But if it were me, I'm looking at the Canes pick which is late second or their own pick early third to nab one of the top goalies in the draft.

Dang I will have to go back there was a goalie that I was reading about, saw the scout notes and his stats. I think most likely 4th or lower round. He just stuck out to me and watched a few vids. I’ll have to go back and look can’t remember the name at all. Think he was Finnish.. I’ll be back eventually with the name!

I lied he was Swedish. He has great stats and not on a good team. He apparently likes to play with the puck which can be a positive or negative. He has a YouTube video that’s just straight him playing the puck, not stopping it which is an interesting choice to show

He’s a short goalie, same height as Saros, definitely can move the puck well. A lot of zipping it out to the red line to one of his teammates which ended up as goals.

Based on his body of work, there is potential even though he has taken time to develop so far. However, I'd like to see a few games on NA ice. Different game even for goaltenders on smaller ice.

I don't see any reason why they should hitch their bet on him at this point. They have extra picks, use one early on one of the top goalies in this draft.

Even if Zajilek become an NHL goalie you need to have a pipeline of players. Maybe they sign DiPietro But he is a player basically the same age as swayman. Not really a prospect. Zajicek is 23 already. The only prospect in the system is Svedback who is 22, and certainly hasn't shown enough yet to warrant an NHL contract, and they have no one younger. All of these players will be around 30 (or older) when Sways contract runs out.

They need to start planning for someone who might be the future starting goalie for the organization. I might even consider going for 2, if I could get a guy going the NCAA path in the late rounds
