Roster spots?

That's the only thing I can think of.

Also, Stralman hasn't been that great either.

I have a feeling we will see some contract trades as well as some middle-man cap trades.

cap first then

roster spots - would team need to waive someone to make room.
then overall contracts allowed.

I dont have time to look at all. But those would need to be satisfied before any team would even think of claiming.

Hasn't been great sure, but a defense needy team IE Toronto, shouldn't be in the business for passing on a free asset who is basically making league minimum

theyre full up on roster and contracts. They have no waiver exempt D. So if they went for him theyd have to waive one of their current D an or demote an exempt forward. But that still leaves them with one contrat 51, too many.
If they waive a D their bottom 4 make less than Stralman so money may be an issue too.

That's true I didn't bother to look at their contract slot status.

Either way, good news for Bruins. Can do much worse that Stralman as a 7/8

He sucked.
Just like the book you tried to read the first chapter of and quit reading
;)
Not how I remember it. Last I heard he was sent to Providence, seen there a little bit then no more.

Was there any official word anywhere on what happened?

Is he still on contact for bruins? Not bad depth dman.
Thought that was the idea this year but then poof he was gone.
