I think he's the most NHL ready of their guys, but if he's a better prospect than Letourneau, that's not good.

They passed on Greentree to take Letourneau who they thought was better. Greentree had much better draft year and D+1 year in the CHL than Minten has.

Minten is likely a bottom 6 guy, but the kind fans will really like. Even taken NHL readiness and certitude, I wouldn't put a player like that at the top.

I like the fact this zeller kid is leading the entire ushl in goal scoring by kind of a wide margin. Who knows but maybe hes an actual forward prospect with top 6 upside and not “middle 6.” They need more of those.

The toronto kid might continue the trend of having no worries at all filling out the bottom 6 today tomorrow or 10 years from now.

He is expanding his game. He is no longer just an offensive defenseman even though Divver says he is neither.

No better place to do that than the AHL.
