Prospect Info: Bruins Prospects XXIV

  • Xenforo Cloud upgraded our forum to XenForo version 2.3.4. This update has created styling issues to our current templates, this is just a temporary look. We will continue to work on clearing up these issues for the next few days and restore the site to it's more familiar look, but please report any other issues you may experience so we can look into. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
And did I not warn you guys Letourneau was in for a rough Freshman year
But ultimately I believe he'll be fine,he's got too much talent, upside is still there
Question is , is he better off learning with the limited minutes he plays at BC rather than playing at the lower levels and developing against lesser talents.

Next season will be the big tell

It's been mentioned many times before, and I'm sure all teams fans do it, but the B's prospects are overhyped but this board.
Been on the board too long, since the Rivals (?) days. There are so many names of prospects that were hyped and most made 0 impact. I used List of Boston Bruins draft picks - Wikipedia as a reference. Cam Mann, Kyle Wanvig, Lee Goren, Lars Jonsson, Martin Samuelsson, Ivan Huml, Sergei Zinovjev (He's still coming over right ?) , Hannu Tiovonen, The 3 K kids (but Krejci was the real deal), jared Knight, Peter Cehlarik, Anders Bjork, Jakob Karlsson, Jesse Gabrielle and Jack Studnicka are the ones I remember most that got a lot of ink/hype and sadly did not pan out. I thinking Lysell and Poitras are next on the list. They are both still young but the B's seem to prefer to call up plugs , drafted around the same time as these two rather than these guys.
Swayman , drafted 2017, is the last true impact player the B's have drafted. Lohrei may get there but that is weak drafting. I have given Sweeney the benefit of the doubt, giving him a pass because the B's never had low draft position, but I think poor drafting has really caught up to this team.

I'm sure he's at least happy to be in the room and getting into a college workout regiment. That's a positive I think?
