Exactly. I don't remember him ever staying down no matter what abuse he's taken. He's as tough as I've ever seen in a Spoked B. Honestly, they need to be careful because he'd play if his head hanging off.
In all of my years watching the Bs (over 60) I have never seen a player who works harder every shift than Brad.

I hope he is OK and stays a few more years so he can retire in Boston (where he belongs)

Personally, I’d like to thank Malkin for generally being a lazy, uninterested slug throughout most of his career.

With his talent and size, I shudder to think of what he could have accomplished if he actually cared more than 40% of the time.
My lasting memory of Malkin is him getting absolutely outbodied by Jaromir Jagr in overtime of game 3 of the ECF, leading to the winning goal.

It's a tie for me

My favorite memory of him is the 2013 playoffs where we heard all about the Pens firepower only to watch them get swept by our guys. Malkin 0 points and-5 in 4 games.

Hope is ok. Was it last game he went to the quiet room and then came back ? Hofefully he's fine but this seems to happen way to often maybe he shouldn't of came back out, during the last game.

Terry O'Rielly no one worked Harder, that guy never quit, no matter what. He wasn't the greatest skater in the world, but no one had a bigger heart, Love Brad but he takes a back seat imo when it comes to purely giving it your all every shift.

How can a guy with that size and talent go through any 4 game stretch with 0 points….especially in the playoffs.

Jesus, people here demonize guys like Coyle, who have 1/10th the talent of a Malkin for not producing in the playoffs.
