I am glad Timmy is in VT.

We joke about the bunker stuff but living a lot of places out west, especially Idaho can really play into that craziness.

But no where does community connection like Vermont. There is no shortage of things to get involved in.

Also, I want those shirts! I hope they sell them for flood relief.

There is no doubt that Tim's politics are not mine, but it matters not. I like him and always will.

I remember after the White House lunch for the Bruins (that Tim did not go to), some little kid sitting on the glass (right next to Tim who was back up for that game) wanted to hold up a sign for Tim. His dad said he wasn't sure he should. It read "Lunch at the White House is for baseball players". I said yes do it. Tim knocked on the glass with his blocker for the little guy.

My best-off ice memory was getting a hug from Tim after the parade. I thanked him for winning the cup and he thanked me for cheering for him the year before when he was having hip issues and some stupid fans were giving him shit. I told Tim to not listen to the fools. It was nice that he remembered.

Bergy's comments on the dance:

Images of Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand dancing at Charlie McAvoy's wedding quickly went viral. If the choreography will have to be reworked, it testifies to the unique character of the friendship which has united the two attackers for 14 years now. “We were working on our chemistry for the Pro-Am, that's what we were trying to do since we didn't have the chance to be on the ice together. We wanted to make sure the chemistry is still there. But there will be no Dancing with the stars ,” joked the hockey player about the famous dance show.

The Captains dance?:sarcasm: Should become a ritual when handing the “C” from past to next Captain;)

I get along with plenty of people who I don’t see eye to eye with politically and life is better that way. Tim Thomas seems like a very good and humble dude. On an individual level, that is all that matters.
