Been lurking for a while, finally decided to post.

I have hope for the Bruins still winning the series. Longshot, but realistically could happen. They did win 6 in a row near the end of the preseason when it looked like they were done. If the Sens can win 3 in a row, so can the Bruins. Bruins do have a decent record on the road. So win Friday, bring game 6 back to Boston then win 7 back in Ottawa.

Remember the 2013 playoffs verse the Leafs. Bruins trailing by 3 in the last 10 mins of game 7; scored 4 to win it. Sure, it was only one game but I feel when pressured in do-or-die scenarios the Bruins make great comebacks. I hope this is one of them.

Pasta, Bergy, Marchy need to step up and shoot more... and actually hit the net. Too many misses last night.

Bruins in 7. They can do it.

I Totally agree and if Rask continues to play like he did in Games 1 & 4 they could win 3 in a row and this series. Bruins have been in all these games with a good chance to win despite all the injuries and I don't think they will quit with their playoff lives on the line, it very well could happen Bruins could come back for the first time being down 3-1 in a series, there is a first time for everything so maybe it is time for the Bruins to comeback and win a series like this.

Tough loss.

You can't win much in the playoffs if you can't score.......our secondary source of offense has failed us again.

Considering it is a must win game; I wonder if Cassidy will do something something drastic like finally move Marchand off Bergeron's line.

Vatrano Bergeron Pasta
Marchand Krejci Stafford
Belesky Spooner Backes
Moore Nash Acciari

IMO, nothing to lose right now....while the chances last game were better; we still need results. If we do this, we could expose Dion on the 2nd pairing unit.

Those top two lines I must admit look a little enticing.

They just need to realize it's 3 games; do or die. Come out with a vengeance and just win. I see it happening. They have it in them. All games have been close, and have been winnable.
I just want the game now. I don't want to wait..

Why not ,down 3-1 just got shutout at home ,top lines really not doing much,Why not?

Vatrano has done next to nothing and I read he left the rink in a walking boot, Beleskey is irrelevant and while I have absolutely no issues with Stafford, he`s not a guy I look to for much more than the odd goal here and there

He**, I`d scratch Spooner and put JFK in for insulated minutes

The answer is mostly not in the lines. The answer is in the talent on those lines and the backend. The backend is fine defensively against this team, but certainly lacks any great talent. The forwards lack at least 1 top forward and is heavily loaded with 4th liners.

Am I the only one that thought Stafford was one of the better players early on in this series? And now seeing him play with Spooner (pretty much getting no mins) is kinda dumb......he should play over Schaeller.

Put in Cehlarik and JFK, maybe some young blood will help. At this point, what do we have to lose?

That was my reasoning for splitting up Bergeron/Marchand.

Right now, if you get DK going it makes things interesting...we can't win with 1 line.....Pasta, IMO, is better suited with Bergeron because he at least has his legs going.

Nope, he was playing really good early on in my opinion. Schaller shouldn't be any higher than the 4th line.

Give DeBrusk a look, he has had his season in Providence, maybe he will bring something to the Bruins with Krecji and Pasta. I would also try Czarnik over Spooner right now, I don't care for either but I've seen what Spooner can and can't do, maybe Czarnik will be willing to work harder. If Vatranos out give Cherlaik a chance at some playoff hockey as well. Belesky has at least been physical

Too many injured D and too many passengers up front. Beleskey is supposed to be some sort of playoff warrior and he can't even get into the lineup. Spooner has been down right awful. Vatrano has been so bad that Tim ****ing Schaller is playing on Krejci's left wing. I don't even want to get started on Jimmy Hayes.

If they half of those forwards I mention playing like actual NHLers they would be in the driver's seat in this series. Instead they are all healthy scratch candidates. It's sickening.

For once I would like to see the Bruins come back from 3 - 1 deficit instead of the other way around. They can win 3 in a row !!

Plain and simple, the D injuries did them in. Just **** luck, but timing is everything.

If Krug and Carlo are healthy, this is a different series.

Unfortuate we have dropped 3 straight 1-goal games. Our banged up D has held the fort somewhat, but the offence isn't getting much going either. As we all should have figured, playing a trap team like the Sens is going to limit scoring chances. The Spooner line should just not play, they achieve nothing.
That weak sauce goal in game 2 by Wideman really ruined us...not blaming Rask, as I think he's been more than good enough to have us tied 2-2 or even up 3-1.
