I was looking into this, and the
legit rumor. It links to their media saying bruins are after this 11.6 million dollar and it showed a picture of Peterson.

Its doesn't make sense fiscally but boy I would love for Edmonton to get a discounted Marchand.

Yea this one is logistics doable as one for one Each make roughy the same salary and their contract ends about the same year. Both are having a terrible season for their club. I can’t see EP as a Bruin and Plasta as a Canuck though

seems like a fair deal to me, Pasta is a better player so the extra cap hit makes sense.
Be crazy if Miller, Marchand, Pasta and E.P were to all get traded this yr.

At this point, Konecny is as good and has certainly been better this season. He's also younger and significantly cheaper. That cap hit difference is a the price of a good 3rd liner or middle pairing defensemen.

Konecny isn’t anywhere close to Pasta. Cmon man. Pastrnak 6th in points over the last 2 and a half seasons. TK is 51st.

but their value isn't a snap shot of them at this moment, you look at what they've done, external factors affecting performance etc. With that in mind I think most would agree that going forward one would expect Pasta to out perform Konecny.

Konecny has had no one to play with for years. Quality of Teammates has a bigger effect on individual scoring than any other factor. He's outplaying Pastrnak this year for $3 million less.

Pastrnak the two seasons prior has been putting up 110+ point, ~50g seasons with no one else on the team getting over 30 goals or 70 points. He's shined as being the hands down best offensive player on much better teams than Konecny has ever been on. I like TK, wanted the Bruins to draft him in 15, and would take him on the Bruins any day but he's just not that guy.
Half a season of being slightly better doesn’t erase years of being much better.

Did you guys see Marchand not celebrate at all when Pasta scored the game winner? Probably because they were on the ice at the same time despite demanding not playing together anymore.
