GDT: Bruins @ Leafs

Come on man. Samsonov basically won us the game against the Rangers. There were a lot of defensive breakdowns and Samsonov won the game for us and kept us in it.

Gotta show some confidence in your goalies man

You guys do realize he isn't the same Samsonov that started the season, right? The guy just stood on his head against one of the top teams in the league and is the reason we got 2 pts.

Woll is going to be eased back into action and will be the #1 in the playoffs if shows he is the better option.

The question is why activate Woll and carry 3 goaltenders if we're going to play him against Arizona and Buffalo?

The Leafs could have simply waited after the deadline and kept Robertson up.

He still let in 3 goals.
He let in 5 against Vegas and was awful
He let in 3 vs Colorado and weak ones.

He has a .881 save%

He had one decent game against the rangers.

He f***ing sucks.

Just read the Bruins thread, they don't give their team much of a chance tonight.

Zacha is a game time decision.

Hope leafs play a strong game today. Can't sit back we need to drive the play.

They actually seem like a pretty self-aware group. Realistic about their team's chances tonight and moving forward. Oddly enough, I find them to be more realistic than fans of most other teams that are in somewhat similar positions (i.e., Tampa, Winnipeg).

Because Woll needed game actions and it's already March. Time was running out for him to be fully ready for playoffs if the team decided not to play him.

He's not getting many games here. He could have been on a conditioning stint in the AHL.

Bring him up after the TDL (which is 4 days away) where there's no roster limit. It makes no sense to immediately activate him after 1 AHL game if you're not going to play him against competitive teams. Jones can handle the bottom feeders too. We had to send Robertson down to activate him and we're not even playing him.

Robertson isn't even a top six player, and he doesn't have to go through waiver wire, it's a no brainer move.
