Knies seriously needs to be benched. He needs some fine tuning time in AHL
We can't go into the playoffs with him being winger on that line

Knies has one stick handle before he’s knocked off the puck. Why are we putting him on our top line? Makes no sense.

There's still time, but our top guys love putting up points against weak or mediocre teams early in the season. When the going gets tough, they most definitely disappear. I am still waiting for the day when supposed top 5 player in the world, Matthews, puts his team on his shoulders and wills them to a big victory in a game like this.
Dionne, Thornton, Oates. Great HOF careers, but never had anything to offer when things get tight in elimination games. Matthews looks exactly like one of those guys.

Core 4 needs to be separated if this season is a bust.

Its too soon for conclusions yet, but wow.

No core 4. New coach.

Clearly everyone with Grit knows how to play.
Core 4 always seem to struggle when its grind and grit hockey.

Where is Rielly comonnn
It’s exactly the time for conclusions……..they have been crap for over 5 years. We know exactly what they are, very skilled but only show up when it’s easy and fold under any sort of pressure…….oh ya and grossly over paid

I dunno, we're not built on D and a goalie. All the $ investment is in offense. What's the score, 3 to nothing?

Have you seen Swayman play goal? The Bruins goaltending duo is tops in the league, and it isn't even close.

At the end of the day we're just not a good team, Boston has been dogshit for a month now and came out dominating while we looked flat as a pancake, doesn't help getting dreadful goaltending

The leafs seem to do well when they can play at 85% effort and still win. Play an opponent who works really hard or is just a great skating team where the Leafs have to put forth more than that 85% effort, and they are like..."no thanks, we'll get them next time".

Just one game lads. Bruins had a similar type of game few days ago

We played some good hockey as of late. But we need a first line winger badly. Knies isn't going to cut it.

sorry but mo is a big issue, a defenseman that doesnt make quick passes and has neither a hard nor accurate shot isnt an asset on the PP
How would it matter when Marner runs the powerplay from the half boards and looks to force every pass through the seem to Matthews? I don't disagree that a big point shot on the PP would be nice but based on the strategy, setup and personal on PP1, it wouldn't matter.

I think we'll beat the Bruins in the playoffs. I really do.
we will beat them in 3 games yea I agree
1 blowout win
1 close game but we pull away
1 supertight game where our defence and goaltending come together

but at the end it will be bruins in 7
