Its more for US market. Grab more casuals. This was right call.I know it's about the ratings, and I agree. There is a special charm to Saturday nights too. But we know the ratings and following would be there regardless of when the Leafs play.
I'd have the same gripe too if the series was lined up for a Sunday game and they threw it on at 12:30 pm to appease the U.S. TV market.
Lets just be thankful they didn't schedule the game in the afternoon. Its more for US market. Grab more casuals. This was right call.
Keep in mind that this guy is feeling the pressure of losing his job after this series. I think we will see him get more desperate after the next two games.I cannot remember ever hearing anyone complain about something like this... lol
Pretty simple: Leafs need to win both at home at go back to Boston for game 5 with a chance to finish it.
We've all seen this group play great hockey when they really want to/need to, it's the rest of the time that's the concern. So I just hope they find a way to keep up the intensity so that us long-suffering Leafs fans can at the very least enjoy the pure joy of sending the Bruins home early.

In his defence if it was the other way around a lot of us would be bitching about it too lol
Spent all his money on refs.So fly home after tonight's game and come back Friday night. Owner too cheap?
Luckily no one is left from that 2013 disaster.
Putting JVR in though wreaks of desperation. I'm sure he'll score.
So... you're saying I should gamble my life savings on Nylander getting the first goal tonight at exactly 23:12 minutes into the first period?I can confirm without denying that Nylander may or may not play today.
You ARE welcome!
Go Leafs Go!

They have to stay out of the box. They want some more offense through their lineup, and he's been fairly productive in a limited role there throughout the season, especially on the powerplay. I would expect a more tightly called game tonight than in game 2 - more powerplays.
