Bruins fire Jim Montgomery, name Joe Sacco interim head coach

Swayman sucks yup.
But that will likely work itself out. Or Swaymans backfill get the job. Like Montys assistant just got his. Bruins gambling on getting a spark from a coaching change. Sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Personally I think they shoukd hire Quenville.

What? This is so standard issue across the entire nhl. The first to go is always the coach. These aren’t “Boston things.” These are professional sports things.

He did say the "biggest" under performance. Not the only one. Hold Out $wayman just gave up 12 in last two starts.
Having said that, McAvoy utterly stinks. Carlo is lost out there. Lindholm looks terrible. Zadorov brings size also far not much else.

They've till have to go through Florida. In round one or two. Panthers take them out no problem.

But in the NHL you unfortunately cannot cut players

But you’re right, swayman should be cut. Hes showing he’s not a #1

It's interesting to look at the awesome core the current GM inherited to build around when he got the job. Then look at how he muffed the first round of the 2015 draft. Then count up all the high round draft picks he has traded away, resulting in zero Cups. Then look at the lack of top 6 skill players in the pipeline. Then look at the bozo overpaying for underperforming players and creating a slow offensively challenged team.

Montgomery set a NHL wins record his first season. Lost his top 2 centers (who weren't replaced) and took a somewhat gimped team to the second round of the playoffs the next season. Then gets saddled with an overpaid bratty underperforming goalie and a slow ass team his third season. And Montgomery is the issue? Laughable.
