Dude,

You just explained it. The reason people are less upset with him is BECAUSE Yeti was the best F on the ice. He needs to get that by Oshie, but the other players need to give him somewhere to go with the puck...and Rask needs to save that.

sry but I can´t understand how someone can blame other players who didn´t made the mistake because the guy who made the mistake was the best bruin of the night...

Isn't he like number 1 all time in save percentage? I know you are an eye test guy, but for ****s sake he allowed 3 goals. Sometimes it ****ing happens. He usually on average allows 2 and we win.

it´s not claude´s fault that söderberg turns the puck over! now I´m net angry about him at all! He´s a great player so far for the bruins and was the best bruin on the ice today (which I said multiple times today)

kelly didn´t have a great game, rask wasn´t on his best, warsofsky was not great
but it´s funny that those get the blame on the OT goal!

This guy has to be on the Swedish Olympic selection committee

What we learned from tonight's thread/posts;

Rask played like *******, he can't do anything right, a waste of a 56 million dollar contract, and is becoming our second go-to whipping boy.

Warsofsky had a bad night (in which he really did).

Soderberg played well aside from that very last play.

Kelly is still our favorite whipping boy.

Did I miss anything?

Its allowing Campbell's terrible play to remain unnoticed.

Here is the real question. You play 3 forwards in ot, I get that but Warsofsky with them? On what planet does that make sense?

:handclap: This. I nearly crapped myself when I saw that. Obviously he was hoping for a big offensive play, but it's only 5 minutes - just rotate Krug, Johnny B, & Bart or Dougie

That about covers it.

This place has gone to hell in a hand basket.

Seriously, you have got to give this cry me a river crap a rest regarding Rask. No one is saying Rask is a waste, but I'm sure Rask himself would tell you he has had some struggles of late. Through the first 30 games he was nearly unbeatable. Since then, he has looked quite human on some nights and tonight was one of them. I, for one, am not concerned about him, I believe he is just a bit tired. I'm sure he will be fine come playoff time.

I don't understand Warsofsky out there as 1 D, I also don't understand Kelly.

Those two on the ice in a 3 forward 1 defender set up are completely contradictory ideas

Yes Rask Career SV% is .927

The highest SV% in NHL history for a career is .922 by Dominik Hask

#9 in SV%, #14 in GAA.. Not taking out goalies with less that 15GP. His stat line is good. It helps that he has games that MONSTER and the very next game he goes and lets 3 very savable pucks in.

My only concern, is that this has been a consistent factor through his career, AHL and NHL. Hopefully he'll come out of it...but there's a lot of hockey left to be tired

Happy to take a point after being down 2-0.

Not Rask's best game but Krug and Iginla missed excellent scoring chances that would have been the difference.

Still pleased as Bruins showed they can play with the good teams even without Big Z.

Oh - we need to bump Kelly down to the 4th line and Pie up to the 3rd. That line was working. No idea why it was even changed.

Kelly needs to get his feet moving and what better way than to Merlot it up for him?

Listen, I know it seems like I have an agenda. Sorry if it comes off that way, I just get frustrated and I don't have anyone else that remotely understands hockey to vent to. I come here to let off steam when I am frustrated at the game. I am too emotionally invested and I have to blame someone, just how I am.

I just wish Tuuk would settle down and show some consistency here. I hope he lives up to his contract and can anchor down the net and lead us to another cup... I am just skeptical at this point due to his inconsistency.

Rask is one of the best if not the best goalie in the world. That's not my opinion, that's the opinion of most objective hockey pundits, backed by statistics. He is elite.

He's not perfect. No goalie is. Maybe if you watched a few non-Bruins games with less-than-standout goalies, that would show you just how good Rask is?

Rask is starting to concern me- Johnson reminds me of Anderson in Ottawa, late bloomer

Why? Just b/c he actually appeared to duck when it was roofed cross corner on the second one?

He went through a period like this last year, too. Deja vu. Then in the playoffs he turned into a wall when it counted.

First full season at #1 w/ the big #1 contract. Maybe he's feeling it a little.

More worried a/b the loss of sieds, 3rd line, and if Iggy is ever going to find the sweet spot on the ice playing w/ Krejci and Lucic. Iggy isn't getting the puck luck Horton had on that line. You know the instincts are there, it's Iginla. Perhaps it's just how that line generates their chances and adjusting to it.

I don't think anyone wants Rask traded. He is overall been very good. Just seems this last month or so he has been inconsistent with his play. I hope he snaps out of it and finds the consistency he had before the new year.

I agree that Rask is good. Rask can be great. I just think of the names we could bring in via acquisition if he was paid less. I just want a more competitive and strong team and I fear that contract might be regretful in the future especially if this Rask slump becomes an annual thing.

Yeah, the guy has had struggles as of late, but some here have to act like he's a sieve who can't stop a puck for ****. You may not have a big concern over Rask, but there are many here who are going all chicken little because he lets in a softie. Like others have said, people did it to Thomas too.

Whatever, I guess.
