First game of the season I didn't have the chance to watch. Were there any bright spots?
Not in the third period. I liked the second period and tolerated the first period.

Do you think this team has played their game this year? This team has some warts. Lots of overreactions no doubt but we haven't played great for a couple weeks now.
I thought he turned several potential dangerous plays into absolutely nothing...including the play on which Hamilton eventually scored. And count the lost 1-on-1 lost battles...

He very well may have, his hit on Krejci was everything I can't stand about the NHL's czar of discipline position.

Liked the effort for 40 minutes. Dougie gets his first. Then, all of a sudden, I can barely watch. Horribad third period. Someone needs to tell Seguin he isn't in Biel anymore...
Funny thing is.......... If the sabes win this Sunday and the b's lose, the sabes will only be 3 points back of boston. Kind of remarkable as bad as the sabes have played, dont ya think ?
Was a boarding call at least, dazed Krejci.
3-2 other way. If Lucic did that hit, he'd be in the box for maybe 5.
Not sure who's idea it is not to engage Buffalo or to play a finesse game but it doesn't work. Bruins need to dictate.
Wait.. he turned plays into "absolutely nothing" -- "including the play in which Hamilton scored"?
What I can't stand is a team not doing anything when its only producing forward gets run.
Not really since the Bruins will still have 3 games in hand
As soon as Scott ran Khudobin someone should have jumped him. They looked soft and uninterested tonight.

Oh they have their warts for sure. But one of them is Seguin being snakebit. The goals will come for him.
Their "depth" has been non-existant. People are so reluctant to use cheaper ELC options on the 3/4th lines and bottom pairing next year but:
Paille -1
Ference - 3
Campbell -3
Thornton -3
Peverley -4
Kelly -4
Bourque -5
