Looks like Krejci's gone dormant after a hot start. Not surprising, but hope he snaps out of it soon. Could really use that top line.

I thought he struggled a lot last night. Other games he has created chances but that line just wasn't having a good game.

Any post game update on Seids?

I assume they aren't practicing today-or at least it's an optional-back to back road wins can be tiring but they managed to come back with 4 of 6 points so not bad.

Seems to have been a little too indecisive with the puck the last handful of games. It looks like he is trying to make the perfect play instead of just making the best play. He has killed some odd-man rushes for them recently. But that line has been good all year. I think he will snap out of it quickly.

Krejci is finally being targeted by other teams top players and he just needs to fight through the extra coverage and move his feet more to get the space he needs to create plays. He also needs to shoot more when covered this way.

It is ok to be selfish French Fries :)

It was great to see Loui along the boards in full beast mode.

Merlot line is back.

The SKY line was fantastic again ( 3rd line: Smitty, Yeti, Kelly).

Looks like we can finally roll 4 lines again.

Big test tomorrow night. Potential Finals match up perhaps?

The folks who say that Rask is just a product of the B's defensive system better go away now (ahem; the main boards). Rask has stolen at least 3 games this season for the Bruins. Just amazing.

Came here to say the same thing. Anyone saying 'the only reason Rask puts up good numbers is because of how good a defence he has in front of him', should just be directed to highlights of this game

“Oh yeah, it’s good,†he said. “We obviously like winning more than we like losing.â€

Just another night in the net.

Tuukka is so even-keeled. Unless he played terribly, it's difficult to tell whether the Bruins won or lost after a game. It's funny when other fans think he's some kind of head case.

Tampa lost in LA last night, so the Bruins are leading the division and the conference.

On another note, the subtle anti-Bruins bias at Puck Daddy is becoming more blatant. Today they lead with a picture of Boychuk falling on Nash (not holding, not tripping; falling) and sarcastically label it "legal defense," and Rask gets an "honorable mention" for a career night.

They're basically a cranial-sphincter separation for Marchand away from leading the league in goal differential. Safe to say that overall they'll be fine.

Room for improvement? Sure, but on the right track no doubt.

But when you look at the league standings, the Bruins would be out of the playoffs if they were in the West.

That's not a knock at the Bruins, just a comment about the east/west balance.

I don't believe I have ever seen conference domination like this, even if it is early.

I guess getting rid of Detroit and Columbus really improved the neighborhood.

Or maybe the worst of the east played the best of the west early on, and as the games pile up, the west best will beat each other up, while the eastern teams will further bury the Florida's, Buffalo's, Jacket's and Philly's.

Which means... nothing. The Bruins don't play in the West. I mean, it's probably a fun thing to discuss if you're into stats and comparisions and that sort of thing, but bottom line, it's irrelevant.

In 2011, there was a constant chorus about how superior the West was, and how that meant the Canucks were going to wipe the floor with the Bruins. Didn't work out that way, though maybe it provided some comfort to Canucks fans to know their conference was so great? ;)

I actually root for Western teams to win every time they play Eastern teams, other than Boston of course, as it's all the better for the Bruins.

Their two best and steadiest d men are down....This team needs a good all around d man yesterday.... However they are capped out.....Time to get creative Chia......I know he is the idol of hundreds around here, but you have to bite the bullet and trade Spooner Koko or a decent pick or two...for a good d...NOW! Kevan Millar isn't going to do it.......Good luck Chia......And I thought they needed a gritty left shooting right wing..pfft. Congrats to Tuukka for the biggest steal of a game I have seen since game 2 in Philly in 2011...and/or the early days of Ranford.

...This team needs the following though: A good backup goalie... A good all around d man....a gritty, veteran right wing with some scoring ability...(Smith does not do it for me)....and last but not least, a decent enforcer who can take the load of off Campbell and Thorton...when the old man is able to fight anyway.....Chara can't fight because of the fingers and his imporatance to the team. McQuaid is hurt....Thorton is old and injured, but still fights now and then.....that leaves lightweight Greg Campbell to do most of the light and middleweight fighting......We need a decent enforcer and no it isn't Camara or Robbins imo. Camara in a few years....maybe.

This post really confuses me.

Honestly, the very last thing this team needs is more grit, and if you believe that McQuaid is one of our "top 2 good all around D men" well..I don't think we need another Adam McQuaid either.

An all round D man like Seidenberg? Absolutely.

Enforcer, Backup Goalie, and a downgrade at RW? No, no, and No.

This team needs 2 things, health and Brad Marchand to pull his head out.

Aside from that, this team is solid.

Ummm...no, to pretty much all of this.

That and maybe one other upgrade would make this team dominant, in the Chara/Bergeron window that's what you're looking for. We're solid as is.

Well said. Was nice to see the bottom 6 have a good couple games indeed.

Krejci isn't physical, but I don't think he minds the extra attention he gets from defenders. His track record in the playoffs (when teams are likely to engage and overplay him more) speaks for itself. If opponents want to shut him down..."challenge accepted"
