With things opening up today I thought it would be fun for people to throw out some bold predictions for the season. We can revisit at the end of the season and see if anyone was right. Lets try not to get to over the top with these predictions and by that I mean a prediction like:

"Nick Ritchie wins the Hart and leads the NHL is goals scored"

Now before his defenders freak out because he was the example and this turns into a "why do people hate Nick Ritchie thread" I'll add another one that is over the top:

"David Pastrnak will score 50 goals and have over 100 points"

Mine are theses:
Charlie McAvoy has over 50 points.
Brandon Carlo has over 30 points.
Zach Senyshyn makes the team and scores 14 goals.
Jakob Zboril wins the Calder after a 40 point season.

Nick Ritchie turns the corner and has a huge year then gets overpaid on an extension that turns into an albatross.

The Bruins finish top-3 in goals against, making a mockery out of the pundits who criticized the defense.

Cup win.

Bruins will have at least 6 players score more than 14 goals (i.e. 20+ goal pace in a normal 82-game season).

Hasn't been done since 2011-12.

The Bruins don't miss Big Z

Mine:

Bruins fans tell themselves the Bruins don't miss Krug or Chara at all, focusing on their weaknesses and not strengths.

Also mine:

Depth scoring remains a problem and Kase is unable to be the second line RW for Krejci and Debrusk, with Smith having to do his best to fill in.

Bruins win less than three games against Washington, miss playoffs.

Optimism:
Frederic five or more fights.
Bergeron is the captain we know he has been the last number of years with Chara.
Zboril impresses us (we need him to).
