I did not like the cheap shot to Soderberg's head.

Classless, dumb move by Thomas.

I don't think most people were defending the actual slash to the head as much as acknowledging that if he had done it while still wearing our jersey we'd be cheering him on for being crazy Timmy getting aggressive in his crease. Timmy had some questionable moments over the years in our nets and I and many people loved him more for it.
No he shouldn't have done it. I doubt he meant to get Soderberg in the face or knows about his eye injury. The Yeti is fine and he got penalized for it. Move it along.
As I said in the main boards, I loved when Timmy was being a jerk when he played on this team and I'm not going to pretend to be mad at it now.

This^^ If he was still a Bruin I doubt a lot of people(not everyone) on here would have had a problem with it, and I know the fans at the Garden would have cheered. I'm not saying what Thomas did to Soderberg was acceptable, in fact it was very dangerous, but I wasn't surprised by it at all. Thomas has always been aggressive in his crease. We've all seen a number of times that he is not afraid to whack someone if he thinks they're crashing his crease. Even Lucic was joking in his interview when he was asked if the puck had hit him on the Chara goal earlier in the game, "It was either the puck or a punch from Thomas" He knows how Thomas plays.

Great win.

Thomas shouldn't have swiped like that but Yeti is ok so it's not the Hidenburg.

In closing, don't care about the rest of you, but if I'm in a bar Timmahs money will be no good if he's there too.

:handclap::handclap::handclap:

Just in from the game.

Before the game Timmy and Tuukka were stretching out next to each other and sharing a few laughs.

People have short memories when it comes to Timmy.

Florida isn't a good team. I will always like Timmy for the cup win.
I hope he plays well vs.all the other teams.

Couldn't watch the game as I was in class and had to watch the state of the union for a political internship (fun fun)... anyone have a link to Shawny Dangles' goal?

So Thomas is a fraud and Yeti is a mercenary. What's next? Thornton dangles?

Sick of the Thimas thing.

Positives:

Krejci was amazing tonight.
Looch was moving his feet and the Panther's D wanted no part of him.
Pretty good night for the defense. Very good night for the big man (seemed like his minutes were limited and we saw Bart a lot but could be wrong).

Lots of goals-can't complain about 3 straight games with 6 goals.

Thornton-the one man scoring machine-great highlight of the game and probably the goal that killed the Panthers. Loved Pie's smile after he scored-you can tell these guys like each other and love playing and winning games.

Bad-the Bruins made one glaring defensive error and let the Panthers score. Bruins need to minimize mistakes.

Can't think of any others.

The Habs come to town next and I would love to see another 6 pack but if they can't put 6 behind Price please just score enough to put a W on the board.

Good eye on Chara and Bartkowski. Chara had about 20:30 of ice time, Bart about a minute more. That's not something you see every day.
