Hate to pick on Vesey, but I noticed something interesting. Go ahead and please rewind........at 2:46 face-off. Vesey gets the puck, a stick handle and finds himself open in the slot. Instead of shooting, he carries the puck wide and takes himself out of a shot possibility. Eventually losing possession.
I suppose that is one of the things that differentiates an average player from one that can make some nice offensive plays.

I hope Zucc is gone at TDL for a rental value and hopefully they end up with a top #3 pick - some guys need to step up here when and if he is gone.

Boston is a one line team with a good defense... they're going to need to dip into the market again if they they have any expectation of making it past the first or second round

I always have had a problem with the use of "passengers" (not saying you specifically, but in general) to describe players that just are not really that good. "Passengers" to me implies floaters, players who put out effort inconsistently. I think Quinn has done pretty good with working on effort level and accountability of players for their effort.
Just not enough talent. My biggest peeve is the defense. I fantasize and daydream about it being ripped up, and I welcome the pain while the team gets on a path to getting a good foundation (no guarantees but the current lineup is guaranteed to not be remotely good enough) takes time but that makes it all the more important to get started tout suite.

Hence, rebuild :)

Deserved. I'm not saying he's at fault for this collapse tonight, but him appearing to half-ass it on an icing ended up leading directly to the sequence that produced Boston's first goal.

Beyond that, dude needs to work on receiving pucks. It's like me passing pucks to my sister, watching him fumble everything away.

actually looks like elements of an NHL level offense

Was hoping for a really big game from ADA with Pionk in the pressbox. Didn’t get it. Not sure it hurts him just would have been a real exclamation point for him.

Shattenkirk has had a terrible game.
 
Of course Buch mishandles it. ADA again can’t buy an assist. That play was started by him. I love that Vesey just gets that goal by being lucky, while ADA created that chance and got nothing.
