The offense got a lot better, because the offense became a lot more unpredictable.
Pirri is a legit shooting threat from anywhere. Buchnevich is stupid unpredictable and never telegraphs what he's going to do. And Vesey is so sneaky and fast, I'll blink and he'll be in the slot waiting for a shot. he gets lost in coverage so easily IDK how he does it.

It sounded like AV wanted to play Zucc with Kreider and Zib.
AV is praying that Buchnevich either doesn't do well after he comes back or they suffer another injury upfront so he can get his Tanny back.
Depending on how things shake out after trades and such, I'd like to see Nieves get a shot.

I wasn't able to watch the game but I saw the highlights and was incensed at the shot Pasternk gave Vesey after he scored. He should have gotten pummeled by one of our guys for that. Nice win!

Btw, Vesey-Stepan-Nash is just a super line. I really like how they compliment each other.

Mika's been much quieter without Kreider. I'd just go back to Kreider - Mika - Buch when they're all healthy. The line clicked and was borderline unstoppable. Don't mess with it. Keep Vesey with Stepan and Nash. Miller - Hayes - Zuccarello will be fine as the 3rd line.

Nothing against Zucc, but he should not be taking Buch's spot. The KZB line has been playing really well, and Buch has been playing well also. Zucc can play with Hayes and Miller.

It's still really early obviously, but the way they've retooled this team and turned the into a speed team again is amazing. Really, really fun to watch.
