Marchand praised the 24-year-old and called him “almost like a big Pasta” due to the way he shoots the puck. The Bruins captain called Wahlstrom’s shot a dangerous one and complimented his game as one he’s always liked.

“That’s outrageous,” Wahlstrom said when he was told Marchand compared him to Pastrnak. “Pasta is Pasta. Obviously, the shot is there but I’ve been working on a lot of other things in my game that maybe helps get to those areas too.”

Playing for Bruins is ‘dream come true’ for newest member

I am excited to see Oliver Wahlstrom

Another PP scoring threat can only help this team.

Go Bs.

It'll be weird if Wahlstrom is suddenly good with the B's but guys being waived from one location and re-energizing in a new one has happened before so why not? It'll certainly be a positive move if he's even just decent and really, Johnson's been pretty unremarkable since being signed so the bar is pretty low.

Flames have hot young goaltending so scoring will be tough.

I am flying home tomorrow. I have one stop in Montreal. I get into Boston at eight something. I hope to be home by the second period.

I hate flying...such a hassle
I've never really liked flying, but after covid, the hassle of flying has gotten to the point where I don't want to fly anymore

Have a nice safe trip

..and GO BRUINS!!

I want them to win one of the next two . Is that too much to ask ?
I think their best chance to win in Alberta is against the Flames, as long as they don't get a 4 minute penalty to start the game, and score first

I'm not too optimistic against the Oilers, but if they can stay out of penalty trouble and play like they did in Vancouver ..they might have a chance

Douse the Flames!!!!!
This makes me miss Oli the Bruins Cat's account, "he" had so much fun with puns. My daughter's new cat is a beauty though and is a born model. He did shred a paper towel but hasn't shown any further interest. I asked her to put the new jersey I got him on to see how it looks (Oli's jersey is retired, as it should be).

Which team shows up tonight? I hope Zadorov puts Kadri through the glass. Make me want to watch the replay, Bruins! Get another two points please!

If Skinner plays like he did for Edmonton ( a possibility? ) last night they will have a chance vs Edmonton.

At 24, definitely worth the shot, and having NHL experience is a plus.
