Renewal invoices are now available in Account Manager. No price increase, I am pleasantly surprised.

Posted on the B's website:
https://www.nhl.com/bruins/news/bru...season-ticket-renewal-information/c-287428174

for the second consecutive year, current Season Ticket Holders who own tickets for personal use will see no increase in price when they renew their Season Tickets for the 2017-18 NHL Season

The price ranges listed are:
  • Loge Seat: $90-$155 per game
  • Balcony Seat: $48-$107 per game

I'd like to say I'm surprised by another increase for flagged reseller accounts, but I'm not. Loge seats that were $95 last year went to $109 this year. Next year's price is $114.

10t row $64 balcony seats that were $77 this year went to $85. How ironic that the balcony seats went up more than the loges.

Those playoff prices are crazy. $54 ticket goes to $68 for round one then $102 for round 2! not to mention plus a $1 a game for pay as you play and a $20 fee for the playoffs.

I'm back on the fence about renewing after the current good play, a month ago I was 99% sure this would be the year I let go of them ha.

The prices for the playoffs are friggin' disgrace.

Rounds 1 and 2 pricing is ridiculous. Rounds 3 and 4 pricing is about what I would expect.

Don't think we have to worry about Round 4. Round 3 is a possibility if the Bruins end up playing in division for the first 2 rounds.

Other than maybe facing Montreal round 1, or a Finals appearance, I can't see getting face value back on secondary market for any round. (My price point is the same as yours. I think I may let the playoffs go)

you'll get face value or more... Bruins haven't played a playoff game in 3 years... people will be excited.

*raises hand* If you have a single ticket for the playoffs...:naughty:

But seriously, to me, the three big STH perks are discounted regular season pricing, discounted playoff tickets, and whatever free jersey they give for early renewal. Toss in the occasional Winter Classic/Draft/All Star as a fourth perk that comes around once every 7-10 years.

I can't imagine that you would have any problem making money on the secondary market, even with the ridiculous charges on the resale sites...as long as you price sensibly. If you think $67 is bad for a Round 1, make a note to see what they sell a single game for. There will probably be room between the $67 and the single game price.

Granted, you have to have the funds to buy the 16 game pack, and be sure that you won't bankrupt yourself doing so, and avoid the temptation of using them yourself if you are 100% planning on selling them. And, yeah, there's the risk of not selling the ticket.

The last 2 years as soon as they sent out the playoff prices the team tanked.

Hopefully that will not be the case this time.

Question for all of you... I am currently on the season ticket waiting list. When do you typically find out if there are seats available? I'm assuming it's during/after the renewal period.

I would imagine after the hard renewal deadline date, which I'm not positive of when that is. To give you an idea, the soft deadline is Mar 23rd, before prices increase.

Prices like that ensure that we won't have crowds like this..

Listen to that crowd. That's some hardcore hockey fans and the place is electric. Back when you could get row 6 balconies the day of for $45. That's what I did for that game. Sad! I'll be sitting on my wallet at home with those playoff prices.

We have row 3 balconies and at $53 one of the cheapest tickets in the building. That is insane.

This was/is a long time ago but I recall Dad being one of the first to make the move to buy season tix for the Sens first year, playing out of the Civic Center in Ottawa and him consistently grumbling about putting out less than 2 grand for two season tickets

By the end of year 3, that was it, not because of the price but rather the horrific product on the ice and ineptitude of ownership

$125 is your Round 1 playoff price, not regular season renewal price? What row is that?

Really lousy that STH's are going to have to refuse playoff tickets because of pricing. ECF and Stanley Cup Finals might be worthy of jacked up prices but not Division rounds.

Might be worth it if Montreal is Round 1 opponent. Smart move might be to wait until the 3/23 deadline and see if Montreal has fallen out of the A1 position and B's are solidly in the A3 position and then take an educated guess if there is a chance that B's and Canadiens will be a Round 1 matchup.

Row 4. Next year is $125/ seat. Rd 1 this year is $143

Was that your price this season? I thought that Loge 4 in lower rows was around $105 this season and there was no increase unless your account was flagged as a reseller?
