I’m not sure if you are new to how RFAs work or how teams typically handle them, but given that offer sheets are incredibly rare and quite frankly not worth the draft capital in the majority of cases, there is no rush to sign them.

They can have an agreed price (or not) and hold off on signing the RFA in this case Swayman, until they’ve addressed other needs with their available cap space, keeping in mind the number Needed to sign the RFA, and if you go over that amount you have all offseason to move contracts to open that space back up. If you sign them right away, then you don’t have that same wiggle room
