Nice, fun win for the Bruins and fans. It always feels so good to have a convincing win. Backes does make a difference even though some whine about him.

I hope Zane can get the win today, assuming he plays. That would be great for his confidence and the team's confidence. It is a clean slate for me, earlier in the season was a tough go for all concerned.

The Florida announcers expressed a little surprise/disdain for the Bruins putting their top power play line on the ice late in the game up 4-0. But they also suggested Julien was wanting to kick-start slumping stars, like Bergeron.

Yeah and had the Bruins put their 4th line scrubs, the announcers would of complained the Bruins are toying with the Panthers i.e. not taking them seriously.

I know that, you're a good fan

Quiet PGT today :D

Bruins beat a completely depleted Florida team after putting up a series of crappy efforts so people were expecting a win.

People post against the norm (win when they shouldn't, lose when they shouldn't) so this one went as it should have.

with that in mind, the Habs should be losing every night with the lineup they are pushing out the door there. Can`t believe they are putting points on the board with that group

Finally a game where I didn't have to sweat bullets for 60 minutes, even though the beginning of the game didn't look promising...

I'm glad they won. But I expect them to win against that sort of team. However far too often they turn in stinkers against an inferior opponent. Take the 2 points, build on it. Glad they won, on to the next game, do the same.

Zero complaints ;)

Humans...how empty would pubs be if everything was fair in the world.

No, it's more than that. There is a large contingent of posters who truly only post negativity. Not complaints, not fair analysis, not venting emotion, just sheer unadulterated negativity. It's sad, but it seems to be the norm with a lot of Boston sports fans. They were the same people calling sports radio to say Tom Brady was done after the loss to the Chiefs in 2014. Living in the best sports town of the last 15 years has made them entitled babies unwilling to bear anything except winning every game.

On any given night it's not a cake walk to win in this league. They W's all counts exactly the same no matter who you face. Enjoy when you get a W especially when it's such a complete team effort. Tuukka didn't have to be Vezina like tonight. That's what we all want to see.

Marshy picked up Hayes and Nash to end up +1 when they were shorthanded so early. This place would have gone into the stratosphere with the fall out had that gone the other way. Big spark for Marshy with his best effort in quite some time. They recorded a shorty, PP and 2 even strength makers and helped Tuukka greatly in putting up a goose egg. If you can't find positives in this game it's because you just may not want to. They did wake up this morning in 2nd place in the division.

The bank just called and would like the B's to deposit to a couple more P's this evening while in Carolina. That's all that matters. Let's Go Bruins!

- I really like the chemistry of Czarnik and Vatrano. I hope Bjork gets signed and they give him a shot with them at the end of the year. I still think Vatrano is working to find the push he had in his skating that he had last year; he looked much more active skating wise last night then he did in Edmonton.

- While Krug and CMiller are the ones doing the heavy lifting in pushing the pace from the backend, KMiller made a nice spin move to get away from a Panther's player to set up Riley Nash's goal. IMO, he's the one that's going to sit when Liles comes back.

- Chara might just be the best penalty killing skater in the league.

Actually, Tuukka did have to be that good in the first 10 minutes of the game.

In 2nd only by virtue of games in hand. Their winning percentage makes them 4th in reality.

Interesting, i wasn't aware of that, i mean to some point it happens everywhere i am sure but in this particular case - Boston and to that level; i live far far away.

Yes, it is that bad. This town feeds on its own, and the more you win, the more they love to tear you down when you falter the tiniest bit. Even if you are the greatest QB of all time. Only ones immune to it were Orr and Tiant, and that was a long, long time ago.
