Completely healthy the Jets are still a wagon and I'm hitching a ride.
Ya the PK seems to be back on track but they definitely need to get the PP going somehow.Yeah, didn't have a big problem with the 5 on 5 here, they did a pretty decent job limiting chances and had guys out sick and injured.
To me though it shows two things:
1. A talent infusion at forward would be very good. I don't know that it has to be a center, a strong winger would help a ton too.
2. This is another game that could've been won with a strong powerplay. Not sure what's going on there but it feels like we're going to leave points on the table with the PP problems
I thought Boston played really well for the first 2 periods and then we had a push in the 3rd and couldn't pot one. That PP cost us this game. One goal from it and its a different game
You know that mood you see when your friend hasn't had a date in over a month and she goes out with this guy she's not crazy about and she has a really mediocre time and the next day you ask her how it went and she shrugs and says it was okay?
Well, that's the way this whole board is sounding this morning.
We lose to Toronto and It's going to sound alot worse. You know that mood you see when your friend hasn't had a date in over a month and she goes out with this guy she's not crazy about and she has a really mediocre time and the next day you ask her how it went and she shrugs and says it was okay?

How about McGroarty? Do you think he can handle it at C?
Like going out on a date and a few days later you are visiting the doctor's office. We lose to Toronto and It's going to sound alot worse.
Apart from the fact that in the 3 games he played center he had the best defensive numbers on the team, but hey, he's small I guess. That, and of course the fact that he is not a center.

I sure get the feeling that 55 is going to find a way to play in this Leafs game by hook or by crook.
Its like dropping a slightly used 6.0 litre LS and having to feck with the computer a bit in your winter beater vs buying a brand new Escalade.Yup. He can easily play it if allowed to actually acclimatize to the position. They are going to have to try it again next year barring acquiring a long term solution there. Given our cap situation I find the prospect of adding a $6 plus million center as unrealistic unless we are ok thinning our depth elsewhere on the roster.
I don’t want to get suspended again @kanadalainen so…As @The Blue Baron might say:
Yippee kaiyay befeckit suffering mothers of invention.
Or somesuch.
