Ugg Forbort is a big loss.

Rest up, You will be missed
I find it hilarious that just a few short weeks ago some posters were referring to Forbort as a jag who could be replaced by hundreds of waiver wire rejects! Makes you wonder what they are seeing now, because I see the same hard working, shot blocking, good defensive player, and great teammate that he has always been.

Sway is not on IR as of right now so that's a great sign

youth, intense commitment to stretching, and hydration are key. your leg can bend that way and not snap anything, doesn't mean he'll feel good or his knee won't swell, in all likelyhood he won't be good for at least 1-2 weeks and be sore when he returns.

and I would have agreed with you since day 1.

From where we sit at the Garden, Derek is well appreciated by his teammates and coaches.

Really? I don't remember seeing that anywhere?

I'd take a broken finger or anything else.

So while Forby will be missed, we WILL be back. Next man up!

As for Sway? No news. Hopefully he'll be okay.

Hearing that Forbort has a broken finger (hand?) and will require surgery.

Not validated but from RA of Spittin Chiclets

Edit: oops just saw RA's tweet a page back, disregard

Open reduction, internal fixation aka the put a pin in his finger. Makes it heal much faster.

"Open reduction" internal fixation (ORIF) just means that an incision was made to repair the fracture. Putting a pin in a bone is often done percutaneous, through the skin without an incision; either option is plausible, and it has more to do with stabilizing a broken bone more than healing faster. I'm not an expert, obviously, just speaking as a surgical technician (kind of a nerd about surgery :D)

Has anyone seen any news or updates on Sway?

I don’t want to see Linus play too many games. He’s been so unbelievably solid. Don’t want him burned out.

Great to see Sway’s is not as serious as expected. No reason at all to rush him back with the way Linus is playing but glad he’s ahead of schedule.
