No news on Brandon Carlo?

At this point I'm frankly concerned for his health, it might be time for him to think about moving on with his life. He just got married & he's got a baby to think about too.

Carlo has been placed on Injured Reserve. He will miss at least 7 days.

However, yesterday Montgomery said "[Carlo] is better today than we were expecting. "

It didn’t even seem that bad of a hit ,wasn’t even his head that was hit ,so just the jolt did it,that’s very concerning.

Everyone here is assuming it is a concussion or some kind of head injury, but we really know nothing of the sort. It does look like his head snaps back and hits the glass from the angle I saw, but it's hard to say for sure what the injury is.

Whiplash can also cause concussion like symptoms without there actually being any brain injury.
neck strain from whiplash can cause lingering symptoms yes, but the brain crashing into the skull as the head whips forward and back is a brain injury, regardless of how mild it is. given his history, "lesser" injuries would feel cause more symptoms.

I suffered 7 concussions in a span of 6 years, including one that left me unconscious for 35/40 seconds. I get dizzy when I sneeze too hard.

Yeah, I'm not saying whiplash can't cause a brain injury. I'm just saying that whiplash can present concussion symptoms without actually injuring the brain. My oldest has had 4 concussions and that's what the Doctors told him. These are the exact same doctors who treat the Bruins.

What exactly did marshy have done ? Double hip is all I’ve heard. Can someone elaborate more specifically. Sounds really serious. Hopefully it’s nothing that sets his skill level back

Actually, the surgery is giving him even more mobility than he's had in a long time. As Marchy said himself, it's going to take a few real games to get fully back into game shape - but I'm guessing he still puts up 75 points this season. Best left wing in hockey, can't wait for him to get back and tear it up.

I am so looking forward to Brad's return. The home crowd will go nuts his first game back!
