If he’s not even skating then I doubt he will be back to 100% any time this season. Means he isn’t really training off ice either.

Lindholm was felled in the first period of the Nov. 12 game against the Blues, struck by a puck that appeared to make contact on or above a knee.

The other moves related to injury classifications, with franchise defenseman Charlie McAvoy surprisingly placed on the injured reserve list.
McAvoy, among the club’s many high-profile performers who’ve struggled to muster offense, has been dealing “with a nagging injury for a while,” said Sacco. Per the coach, McAvoy also will not suit up for Saturday night’s game in Ottawa, in the building where he made his NHL debut in the 2017 playoffs.
During the weekend, a photo on X, the social media platform, showed McAvoy in street clothes and wearing a wrist brace, possibly indicating what Sacco meant when he referred to the defenseman’s nagging injury.
