Todays Globe:
I feel like this season’s middle six scoring depends heavily on Poitras’s health. Not only because of his individual contributions but because of who he can push down the lineup. Would feel much more comfortable with another legit middle six scorer in the mix for insurance.Todays Globe:
Poitras progressing
Matt Poitras shed his red, noncontact jersey and instead wore a gold jersey on a practice line with Jones and Tyler Johnson. “Poitras is continuing to make the steps that we go through [when rehabbing],” said Montgomery ...
I never heard nothing yet. This goes unpunished because they look at this stuff in Toronto & it's the Bruins.Boston coach never says nothing either. He should have been screaming bloody murder .Any word on Peeke?
Still don't get how this was reversed. Left his feet, hit from behind into the boards on a player in a vulnerable position.

It's on the NHL to police that crap better, picking and choosing who to penalize for that kind of hit, isn't working.I thought one of the criteria was leaving your feet off the ice and he definitely did that so I am 100% sure that if Marchand had put that hit on a Leaf the exact same way he'd have had a major, a game, and a suspension but such is standards in Leaf land.
Pacioretty still getting balancing Karma from the Chara hit I guess.
poor Andrew.Boston Globe:
Peeke week to week
Defenseman Andrew Peeke, who suffered an upper-body injury Tuesday in Toronto when he hit the boards awkwardly after a collision with Max Pacioretty, was listed as “week to week” by Montgomery. The club has not yet called up an extra blue liner from Providence ..
"... hit the boards awkwardly after a collision with Max Pacioretty" ... WTF?
How about "... drilled into the boards by a blindside and marginally high hit from Max Pacioretty"?
Is the NHL writing the text for these articles now?
I didn't even know it was this bad of a hit.
