Vitek being a spaz with his movements helps in those situations better, same applied to Blackwood. The more technical sound goalies usually suck at breakaways.

The acceptance from some here for horrible goaltending is surprising to say the least.

Team isn't playing their best hockey since the start of the year collectively, but a huge chunk of that goes on the goaltending.

Yes, the goaltending has been awful this year. We all know that. It's not news. No one doesn't know our goaltending sucks. When you ask anyone else who knows anything about the NHL about NJ, they say, "Oh they need goaltending". We all know it. Everyone knows it.

I am just having a blast watching people shit on Vitek in this GDT, because he has given up one goal on 16 shots. A .938 so far. This game, so far, is far from his fault at all.

Just the dumbest, lowest denominator takes.
