You don’t even have to be physically. Just play between the puck and the goal and be patient.

The Devils will press and skate themselves into trouble.

The team barely looked good when Jack was on since it was the PP carrying a heavy load.

Seriously, 5 on 5 this team has looked bad the majority of the year. They look like this period most nights with either the PP bailing them out or turning the tide once the other teams gets a couple.

Well, we didn’t have Nico for a chunk of those games (plus he was injured/off to start the year when we did have him). The numbers do not support us being bad at 5 on 5.

Timo is like a 35% xG guy right now and makes things difficult.

Yeah, it’s the goalie’s fault that he gave up a horrible rebound and they scored because of it. Giving up a bad goal is usually the difference in a game. It will probably be why we get zero points out of this one.

It's rare that Vitek doesn't give up a horrible rebound.

I have FiOS. If I was in market I wouldn't be able to watch the games of ESPN+. When the Devils play the Flyers I get blacked out on ESPN+ because I'm in the Flyers market.

I was secretly hoping this was a big turnaround game, back to last season's team, but no they look like shit again. Super frustrating to watch this team. Bunch of 1OAs, top10 picks, ppg guys, 40 goal scorers and they just can't make it happen. Nico is in his prime now, they should already be way more competitive. Goalies are bad, defence is bad and now even the offence is bad. The 'best pp in the league' hasn't scored in ages..
