There’s a problem with a very loyal Devils fan! He has these problems where he has these demons and these demons act out. The demons are a turncoat former Devils fan that jumped the river and a Devils fan who is Rangers/Flyers/and every other team sympathizer! Oh my! You have to help me!

My person is really going crazy! He’s so nutty! Every few nights he watches this strange game for about 2.5 hours and pays little attention to me when it’s on! The Devils or something? Aren’t Devils BAD? All he does is talk about bad goals and how much he hates the goalies and it’s so bad! And then he turns into another characters and starts talking about how shrewd of moves the Rags are making and how Torts and Philthy refuses to lose and Pete and Hynes also refuse to lose! And thanks again Fitz? And Jake MacDonald? And thanks for not signing Jon Quick annd letting him go to the Rags? What does this stuff even mean? And then it’s like he turns into this other character and talks about culture of failure and losing! He calls himself Doggo or something. Does he actually think he’s a dog? I’m afraid he’s gonna be committed! I can’t take it anymore!!!!

Just take a look around at the standings. Everyone is passing the NJD by. Torts refuses to lose, NYb can’t be beaten in regulation, Rags at the top of the Metro. Even Rawly and the Pengs are getting it together and WSH playing with so much heart they’re trying to get one more cup for Ovy. Why didn’t we re-sign Boqvist? But signed Tierney instead? Just a throwaway season. Thanks again Fitz!

I haven’t decided if the next one I do (whenever that is) will be a continuation of the exorcism or my Devils goalie themed GDT.

The goalie themed one seems more appropriate after a real stinker game from one of the goalies, but it could work.

Especially when we win 6-5 again with Vitek! :sarcasm:

Just get the damn 2 points.

This Metro division is just killing me.

(the Devils have a better shot at Beating this team at home than on the road so.... 🤞)

Yeah they need to start winning a lot of games quick, I think they are like 2-3 teams away from the wildcard slot even with this pretty successful road trip. Metro and East in general just doesn't seem fair, #4 in Pacific would be bottom 2 in both Eastern Divisions. Getting stuck on no mans land at #13-16 would be a very Devils 2013-2016 type of thing to do. I'd rather see us draft at top5 if we can't make the playoffs.

Would be about time to beat the Bruins too, if we can't beat good teams then we don't deserve the playoffs. It's just so frustrating that we spend so many years at the bottom and when it finally looked like we turned the corner last season, we are now back to struggling again.
 
The last time we beat the f***ing Bruins MacKenzie Blackwood was a good goaltender! Anyway he was good for the Sharks last night. Perhaps this is a good omen from the hockey gods! This GDT thread is solid "Ring of honor" Sergi Brylin material. LFGD!
