Nonsense.
Pretty sure Justin Sather is 100% safe.
Nonsense.
We have nothing to lose and Glen Sather know this, because next season is crucial for us to show the fans the new direciton and style of hockey, and too many underperform with the previous coaching staff.
It is literally a wake up call. Haaland wake up the whole team in Dortmund and won the german cup this evening with 2 goals with Sancho both world class soccer players in age of 20!
To be brief our younger top talents need better coaching; they need to achieve and unlock their raw talent skills and set to improve the whole Rangers team. Next season is a new chapter in the Rangers history. It might take 2 seasons to achieve playoffs, but I felt it was necassary.
East Coast - I usually laugh and move on but have to acknowledge this subtle, dry, gem of a post. The bars opened back up so he’s probably got his hands full trying to keep his family from beating up bartenders
Yeah my post was tongue-in-cheek, I was expecting people to freak out that his departure spelled doom.We have nothing to lose and Glen Sather know this, because next season is crucial for us to show the fans the new direciton and style of hockey, and too many underperform with the previous coaching staff.

Are you saying there might be a connection?Leetch (and Richards) were Gorton hires from 2017.
In contrast, Slats traded Leetch on his birthday without even calling him first.
I knew Glass, Jorts, and Eminger were on the payroll. Had NO idea that Ruutu worked for the team.
Agreed. You miss the playoffs again... no big deal but then you fire Quinn. OKA wake up call for a team that’s just learning to jog from a brisk walk. Could’ve just fired the coach, that would’ve been enough.
And no the next season was never crucial, but now they just made it that way.

Maybe Graves is next to walk the plank?
I think I read in one of the Finnish papers that he's also been in regular contact with Pajuniemi. Sounds like he's doing good work.Ruutu helped Kakko adjust to life in the NHL during his rookie season.
Rangers enlist Tuomo Ruutu to help boost Kaapo Kakko's game

George McPhee is a gm and Dave brown is scouting director flyers.. .its about mgmtnskills..not where is in that position. Esposito nyr gm coach fired quicklyNot sure why but this alarms me a lot. What exactly does "Player Development" stand for in this case? Are we talking about character building or on ice?[TBODY] [/TBODY]

Depends on the team, but a lot of Player Development departments are pretty much player support. Making sure they are getting the tools/access they need for success at whatever point they are in their careers, depending on how the organization views that player at any given moment. Be it training, dietary, education, etc.Not sure why but this alarms me a lot. What exactly does "Player Development" stand for in this case?
