WC: BRONZE: USA vs Czechs

I've said repeatedly I'd like to see US with a medal at some point. Great program and send great teams. I don't buy that millionaire NHL players fly to Europe for 3 weeks because they don't care or want a 'free vacation for their girlfriends' as I think a millionaire could afford to take his partner to Europe.

Czechs are looking to end a 10 year medal draught and it would be great for us to get something (and improve our ranking a bit).
US have played great and deserve a medal as well.

The US already regularly snatches bronze medals in this competition, though. Happened last year, in 2018, 2015 and 2013.

I hope the US pulls it off but I worry that their 4 D will be so gassed that forward(s) will have to take more shifts than you'd like at defense and it'll cost the team like it did in the SF.

You are correct.. in fact, they have 4 medals to our 0 since 2013. They've been in 5 semis and medalled 4 times. Czechs have been in 3 semi's and have 0 medals.

This doesn't make me feel better about our chances at all.lol
