I will say, that is basically how most the goals go in on Hrbal.. tip in close or rebound in blue paint. He has been exceptional and not getting enough love for his play.

Was it Lindstein who was beaten wide against Finland too?

But that was the other side so not sure.

I've been giving him love. He deserves consideration for MVP of this team, wouldn't you say? He's kept them in a lot of games

And that is why that idiot should be fired. He is clueless. The officiating is always terrible at the WJC and there is no hitting. The morons should know that and send a mostly finesse team.

HIm or your boy Stancl.. he has scored in all the big games. Canada - goal. Sweden - goal. USA - goal. He's got his work boots on.

Regarding Hrabal.. he won't get it but he's been unbelievable. One bad goal in 6 games.

His NHL future is bright.. 3 years is my guess. Vej can pass him the torch!

Well, we didn't shit the bed in the 2nd. I thought that was even. 2 goals. 2 posts. Shots are similar.

20 minutes for a very important medal! Dig in boys! Shorten that bench. Block everything.

Between him, Dostal and perhaps Dobes the future of Czech goalies looks bright
 
Really curious how Šalé turns out for Seattle. Would love to see him as a perennial senior national team player

I think he gets in 1 or 2 NHL games this year... just to give him an offseason 'to do' list. I retract this if Seatle is in playoff position but currently they are not. So give Sale a few games to see how he looks.

Czech goalie school is the only thing that hasn't gone to shit in the 2000's. 8 guys have at least 2 wins in NHL now.

Dostal is our best right now.. once Anaheim improves (and I like their rebuild just like I like the Blue's 'retool') I think he gets in Vezina talks.

Dobes is great and may get traded.. I think the Hab's have a guy that looks to be amazing.. fowler? I'm thrilled he's in NHL at 23. And he looks damn good.
 
How funny is it that Sikora will never be able to play in a Canadian market for his entire career. They will still be booing him ten years from now.
