It is phonetic.. Pronounce the letters as they would be pronounced on their own.

It's not that simple. And to be pedantic, it's not about how to pronounce the letters, it's about how the sounds are written. So you have to look at it that way around to get it right. Speech is the primary form of language, after all, where all the evolution in languages has happened; writing only reflects it. (I took Linguistics as my minor at the uni back in the day...)

Russia rarely seems all that capable of putting a good 60 minutes together. Whenever they do they usually win.

It's almost like they always have these internal battles. Some coaches don't like players, players don't like the systems, some good players get left behind for political reasons. Just can't seems to be in the same page

Finnish are Finnish. Simple as that. They are like good soldiers, do what they are asked to do
