On a stacked Gopher team, he always stood out as an elite talent. So true. The next one however is going to be Boeser when we sign him 7 x 8 mil and he returns to a 25-30 goal 55 point player and his trade value drops to basically nothing. Then you'll see the 100s of proposals trading him out of town for nothing. Hence why now the ideal time to move him.

I think you just nailed it with the first sentence. He had a breakout yr and shot at an unsustainably high clip. When he returns to earth we will be cursing not moving him this summer when we could get a decent return.
