The Blues’ need is a Broberg. No deal to be had.

Having Broberg in any kind of trade talks is useless right now . It would be tad amount to putting Schneider from the Rangers into trade talks .

Outside of them 2, i couldn't see what prospects the Blues would be willing to part with, & i don't know the Rangers organization enough to know what they'd be willing to part with .

We OS Broberg because he fills a needs for us. Trading him just defeats the purpose of aquiring him. Don't see anything appealing that the Rangers would want to trade and makes sense for us

Schneider would be in this deal. And then we would haggle about who adds, but since you are asking for our player it would be mostly us insisting you add.

Nobody really wants that exercise, so I wish that were going to be the end of this.
But I predict there will be bad listening to the Blues fans who are saying this same thing

Blues desire to trade Broberg would be pretty slim. But we'd happily take K'Andre off your hands for a 1st round pick and a veteran roster player.

The Blues are in year 3 of a 5 year rebuild and Broberg is a key piece.

Oilers wouldn't trade him to The Blues so the Blues decided they were going to do the Double Offer Sheet so they could do anything they could to acquire him because the Blues believe he is apart of the solution to get back into the Playoff hunt within this year or next. So far Broberg has exceeded expectations for the Blues. Absolutely zero chance the Blues trade him.

KAM is a broadly similar skillset some at Rs board are improperly disillusioned with when yeah, he makes the odd bonehead play but prob has mostly been tried to do too much w/Trouba as partner, and now am trying to find an optimal fit

but right now KAM for Bro is basically lateral

I could be wrong but the Blues can not trade him till August 2025. Offer sheet rules

I like Miller's tools, but he is a mess. Very basic hockey reads, too. There's a point at which not everyone can be damaged goods on the Rangers, but there's also a point at which you're giving up the kind of value that could get a return you're a lot more certain about.
