A stat will not tell you how well (or bad) the PK played. The PK needs to be better

You are right. Our PK has been no help to him this series. He's (Freddie) has been under siege in the crease and our PK'ers are not clearing the puck from the crease.

There's significantly more Rags fans here than in 2022

Not good. Hopefully, it's not half the attendance.

I'm guessing 20-30% based on the parking lot right now

I don't get the narrative that Kooch is poor with too much rest, ie rusty.

.916 SV% with 3+ days rest.

I guess as with many things, he's gotten much better at that over the course of the season. That does surprise me because for all of the early season he was generally quite bad when he wasn't playing regularly.

I'm just worried, like I'm sure everyone else is that he's going to have a horrible game because he's been too inconsistent this year.

I do hope he has a great game because he has played well vs some really good opponents this season; FL, Rangers and New Jersey and Freddie does need a rest but personally I would have gone to Kochetkov earlier, like maybe game 1.

Also, I'm sure he's going to have a lot of pressure on him knowing he's thrown into the fire and is being held responsible for trying to get us back in this series.

If he bombs I honestly blame Rod more than him for waiting until basically a must-win as his first postseason start

If he plays like he did last time he faced NY; 1 goal I'd take that. I know we lost the game 1-0 but he played a great game and with the way this series is going I don't see any goalie getting a 1-0 shutout...but what do I know.
