Speculation: Briere to NYR?

With the Flyers buying out Danny Briere, I think the Rangers should take a chance with him. He has had injury issues, but when healthy is a huge threat on the ice (especially on the PP). He is also a very good mentor to the younger talent on teams (see Giroux and Couturier) so if signed, he will help any prospect that comes up. Thoughts?
