Weird goal and a weird ending to the game. I can't say I saw Durandeau tap it in but no review was granted. The Isles and officials left the ice and the Bruins all remained on the ice.

Oh well, B-Isles can wrap it up on home ice Wednesday night.

The way Schneider played second half and tonight makes you think someone is going to give him a shot as backup next year, he is healthy and has played great.

I still can’t figure out how durandeau got that in

Corralled the puck, went behind the net, then must have banked it off of back of goalies left pad and in

I think Durandeau picked up Salo’s air mail off the glass when it landed behind the net and scored on the wraparound.

durandeau picks up salos wide shot behind the goal line, skates behind and a wrap around but he didn’t seem too close to the net for wrap around lol

and provi must have been thinking goalie interference, but bruins D man held 20 in the crease for 5 seconds lol

Raty had a good overtime. A couple of good scoring chances.
Yeah he won the face off I think, I’ve pumped both Wotherspoon and Durandeau as guys who could play in nhl as depth guys. Durandeau is a hustle and effort guy like Cizikas but he has hands and gained a lot of confidence this year but struggled to finish year a bit.

He's a technically sound goalie, he just doesn't have that burst of athleticism to get from side to side in the NHL anymore.

Big first win, but very close game.

Could easily go either way Wednesday and I think Schneider is going to have to be ready to stand on his head again for the next one.

BPort doesn't look like they'll be able to do much in the line of minimizing opponent shots, even if many of them were surely from the outside.

The gamewinner looked simple to read to me... Durandeau just grabbed the puck below the goal line and tried to do a wrap-around. Prolly hit the goalie's skate and went in.

The key is the Bruins defenseman pinned an Islander forward and his own goalie against the net nearer to the far post from where the wrap around try
was. We will take that thank you.

Salo’s pass was remarkably off line, so much so that the B’s goalie barely moved upon seeing where it was going. The optimist in me would say Salo did it it intentionally to get the puck in deep. More likely it was just a bad shot.

One other question for those in the know. LaDue for Bolduc? Seeing Bolduc light up the stat sheet at Bridgeport only one season ago it’s hard to fathom. Again, Paul LaDue?

I remember commenting on Salo's ability to get pucks at the net going back to Sweden. A lot of guys would have tried to take a slap shot and have it blocked up top. Salo just got it at the goal, and it turned out pretty well.

Lou gave him the chance to come here and re-invent himself and if he's given the opportunity I think Lou would be happy for him.

Fresh start Wednesday, maybe stay out of the box and get all four lines rolling?

Durandeau led the team last night with 5 shots, followed by Raty with 4.

Holmstrom and a handful of others with 3.

According to a Mike Fornabaio tweet Bolduc was a healthy scratch due to his inconsistent play. I know he had been a scratch in some games down the stretch. I thought Bolduc's play was more consistent in February and March and he was playing every game. I didn't see much of the team in April so I don't know how it went bad for Bolduc.

Loved Durandeau's motor in his last year with the Mooseheads. Always been rooting for him.

Dropping $100 to win $10 doesn’t seem worth it to me.

That’s my advice.
